Seaside welcome wagon
Island food.
I’d been up and traveling since 4:45am, gritty New York City time. Fifteen hours later, at my body clock equivalent of 8pm, I was thrilled to be walking on the deck to my front door, located more than a bit beyond the opposite coast.
I looked down.
A gift.
From a gull.
Who, in my five-day absence, decided to open a sushi restaurant on my premises.
Looks like the meal was wonderful.
I get fresh sea urchin delivered right to my doorstep. I tell you, this is one sophisticated island.

Oh to be the first kelphisto to officially welcome you home, what bliss! Of course you already have enjoyed other welcomes over on your facebook page, and twitter, and maybe YouTube too.
Looks like you dusted off NYC just before the snow hit; lucky girl.
Love the second shot of the urchin up-ended. Your mp3, which I label as Phantom Jazz@2:42 really put a tingle into my Sunday morning. I have been sending you copies of my cinemagenic poems, up to scene ten now, and I fantasize that you will be doing the score, of course. Your music today started me thinking, since you combine musical forms so brilliantly, that the theme for LOVE HURTS will be a hot jazz piece with blues slide guitar included, and maybe some harmonica too.
Following is the Shapiro prose poem the world awaits:

And a lovely Head Kelphisto welcome this is! Actually, the little demo is of a jazz tune of mine called “San Nicolas Island,” and it’s the first such tune I ever wrote, at age 16. I agree with you about the tone of the music for your intriguing and touching series; I’ve been enjoying it and would be honored to score the film version! Let me get Spielberg on the phone…
