Off again
Quick as a fox.
I’ll be off island this weekend, but back soon with more pix, including my favorite: those taken of this magical archipelago from inside the aeronautical equivalent of a Volkswagen bus at 1500 feet. No, wait: I’m hoping that my puddle jumper is considerably more aerodynamic than that!
Have a great weekend everyone!

The thing that is grand after leaving your island, is the welcome home it gives you each time you return; like that faithful mutt or pair of cats that just seem to be so happy that Mama is back it as if you have been gone for months instead of minutes. I saw my first fox in the wild, a silver one, in the Olympic National Forest at midnight last Saturday night. Of all things, my son-in-law and I were quietly cruising a forest service road in the Upper Queets Valley doing some Bigfoot hunting–but that’s another story.
Your musical clip “Scherzo from Sonata for Piano @ 54 seconds is fine travelling music, frenetic like the jellyroll blues, like Scott Joplin, like nickelodeon tinkles, like Mack Sennett Keystone minutes, everyone racing about, and getting it done. Beatrix Kliens talented fintgers keep us jumping. It is always fun to revisit some part of your three movement Sonata For Piano, the original 16 minute work.
