See sea duck duck
Sea duck.
See sea duck.
See sea duck flap.
See sea duck duck.
Just ducky.
Duck, as a verb.
A sea duck.
A Harlequin Duck, to be specific.
Clowning around, perhaps?

And good morning to you as well. Your little ducky ditty is kind of
a Harlequin haiku, or tanka tease, enit? Put a big old smile on this
unshaven puss this earliness. Don’t see harlequin fowl down here
in America much; great shots, fun piled onto fun.
Thanks for the RE:PAIR @ 1:04, nothing like a pair of flutists to
put the cream in my coffee, and the skip in my step.

This was the very first Harlequin Duck I’ve ever seen! A fun addition to my “life bird” collection (fellow birders know the obsession well). They descended on these waters over the past couple of weeks, and are a delight to watch. The females seem to travel in gal-pal packs; the males I’ve seen, like this fella I photo’d, have mates and are already a two-some. What a great paint job!
